Electrolytes
Are you looking for an ORS manufacturer and/or electrolytes supplier?
Oral Rehydration Salts (O.R.S.) is a mixture of electrolytes and glucose in specific proportions, which is designed to replenish fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration. As ORS manufacturer, Primmed can customize all our white label products to your liking.
The right ratio of glucose (sugar) and minerals (salts) facilitates the absorption of water through the intestines and enhances a faster absorption of fluid in the body. Glucose adheres to the intestinal wall and acts as a catalyst to absorb the necessary minerals into the body more efficiently, drawing water with it. Consequently, fluid levels in the body will increase.
O.R.S. is a food supplement and typically consumed orally. O.R.S. can only be used when dissolved with the correct measurement of safe drinking water. The product is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. The recommended dose should not be exceeded. Instructions must be read before use.
Traditionally, O.R.S. is a mother and baby product. O.R.S. is commonly used to treat and prevent dehydration caused by illnesses such as diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive sweating. This product is also often used by athletes and travelers to prevent dehydration during intense physical activity or in hot and humid environments
